The Problem

The homeowner in Deception Bay reported a blocked toilet, which was causing significant inconvenience. Upon inspection, it was evident that the blockage was due to tree roots protruding into the toilet drain, leading to a complete obstruction of the plumbing system. The situation required immediate attention to restore proper function to the toilet and prevent further damage.

The Solution

To accurately diagnose the blockage, we utilised a CCTV camera, which revealed extensive tree root intrusion into the toilet's S-bend. The roots were obstructing the pipe and preventing waste from flowing freely. After assessing the situation, we proceeded with high-pressure jetting to remove the roots and clear the blockage effectively.

The Outcome

After completing the jetting process, the blockage was successfully cleared, and the toilet was restored to full functionality. The homeowner was relieved to have their plumbing issues resolved promptly, ensuring peace of mind and a return to normalcy in their household.
